About me
Katie Campbell is a narrative writer and photojournalist who has worked for publications throughout the United States. She holds a master’s degree in narrative journalism and has worked as an enterprise reporter at daily newspapers where she earned awards for in-depth coverage of the criminalization of mental illness and the rise of medical bankruptcy among the uninsured. More recently, her story on egg donation was selected for the Norton anthology The Best Creative Nonfiction. Katie shoots freelance assignments for regional and national magazines and currently teaches photojournalism at the University of Oregon.
